As a youth organization in Thompson, Manitoba, we are ready to welcome young adults aged 12-18 into an exciting, dynamic, community based program. We strive to be a relevant, credible, and proactive youth development organization, offering the program of choice for Canada's youth, preparing them to become the leaders of tomorrow through a set of fun, challenging, well-organized, and safe activities. Join now!
We are currently seeking volunteers to help lead the Air Cadets program in Thompson. Whether you need volunteer hours for your professional designation, or are just looking for an interesting way to get involved in the community, please reach out to us. There are also a small number of positions which receive a little bit of pay. As this is a youth organization, a favourable criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening and child abuse registry check is required.
In order to keep the Air Cadets program as a completely free program for our participants, the Squadron sincerely appreciates any and all donations. This includes cash donations as well as donations of items that we can use in our training program. If you or your business would like to make a donation to 737 Squadron, we can accept donations in the form of cheques or items mailed to us or dropped off at our training location. If you choose to donate, THANK YOU! Please note that we also have raffles and other fundraisers throughout the year if you wish to contribute in that way.
